Enyimba shift focus to Champions League, says Thomas

nyimba goalkeeper Femi Thomas has said his team have now shifted their focus on winning next year’s CAF Champions League after they landed a fourth Federation Cup Sunday.
Enyimba secured the Champions League slot after they finished second in the league behind Kano Pillars and Thomas said he believes Enyimba are still the best club in Nigeria and they will prove that by winning a third CAF Champions League trophy next year.
“Our target now is to perform better and probably win the Champions League,” disclosed the goalkeeper.

Both teams (Enyimba and Pillars) who represented Nigeria in the competition last year didn’t do well.
“And now Enyimba want to prove a point with the Champions League that we are still the best team in Nigeria.
“That was why we fought hard to secure Champions League spot.”
Enyimba have won the Champions League twice, in 2003 and 2004.
